New world land speed records, for hybrid-electric vehicles and for electric-only vehicles will be assisted by Access software supporting the project.

This attempted record means that the world's fastest car could be powered by electricity within the next two years. The revolutionary vehicle using electricity and gas turbine power to challenge the wheel-driven land speed record is designed by Martin Bryant who worked as a designer and engineer for top industry names such as Williams, Ligier and Arrows Formula 1 teams.

Access re-seller E-Advantage Solutions will be providing complete ‘Out-sourced IT Management' for the E-commerce website and back-office systems for the project'.

Created by Pegasus Electric Ltd using zero/low emission power sources, the hybrid-electric version is a World-first and will target achieving speeds in excess of 500mph, while the electric-only version will target speeds in excess of 300mph. The current world land speed record for electric-only vehicles is 245mph, set by an American Team in 1997.

The overall record for wheel-driven vehicles stands at 410mph, set
in 1965 by the Americans. Pegasus Electric using hybrid turbine electric
motors are ultimately planning to hit 700mph! Not far short of the Thrust
rocket-powered speed of 763mph.

E-Advantage Solutions are pleased that all their software suppliers are
